I remember ridiculously long stretches, especially towards the end of his Presidency, where Trump didn't hold press conferences, and the White House didn't even do the traditional press briefings.
That said, Biden's team is definitely playing the card of keeping Biden down low. The idea seems to be that after the way Trump inserted himself into every conversation, the country would like the next president to be more boring.
That much is true, but I don't want that to be the way to slip issues past the press and the public, but so far, I'm not seeing much of that. Boring and out of the press spotlight he might be, but he's been pushing his agenda and meeting with the folks who can move it forward, which is the part of his job I care about.
