A key plot point is that some bad guy dies and in his will, he leaves a large fortune to his named enemies, with the stipulation that it be divided evenly among any of them who were still alive a certain length of time after the will was read. I heard about that plot years ago, but I don't remember what it was from.
Sound familiar to anyone else?
