There's certainly a baby boom in my house - Edit 2

Just got a shiny new 2 month old to complement her wizened 2 yr old sister.

I can see where the pandemic would tear people apart though. It's a constant drain with kindergarten shutting down every other month.

One of my friends is going through a divorce. All my single friends have stopped dating, though maybe they've just grown jaded ? In my single days I wouldn't let something small like a pandemic slow me down. Horny little bastard

So yesterday we finished watching Kevin Costner as The Postman. One of my favourite films. Mrs. Apple appreciated the story line and ideas but she says the dialogues are sometimes embarrassing. Now I ask you, what's embarrassing about Olivia Williams telling the Postman he 'hands out hope like candy in his pocket' ? That's how people talk in the apocalypse.

View original postCurrent evidence looks like there isn't going to be a COVID baby boom, in fact the opposite.

View original postOf course this thing is always a moving target but hey it has been 9 months since March 2020, and based off the December and Early January Hospital Numbers we are having 5 to 8% less babies than a similar period in 2019.
