I say apparently just because I usually find people attribute very subjective meanings to the words coming out of Trump's orange mouth.
However, saving public trust in the political process is important, even if there were irregularities in these elections.
Are you talking about political players or people on this board ?
I think the people who hate Trump would do anything, to keep him away from power. Do you disagree with that statement ? Of course 'anything' is kind of a weasel word, isn't it ? When I say I'd do anything to keep my job, I usually don't mean bukkake.
Is this your idea of conversation ? If you start off with a talk to the hand attitude why are you on a message board ?
I'm honestly asking, did Trump tell his supporters to violently storm the Capitol ? From what a friend told me, I understand he said he 'understands' the public outrage and repeated the election was stolen, but also told them to keep the peace. Something like that. But also did not make a firm statement against violence once it erupted.
Unfortunately political violence has been normalized in the US during the last years. I recall a mob banging on the doors of wherever it was Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed as a Justice. And small mobs screaming administration officials out of restaurants. And quite violently protesting against some Ben Shapiros on college campuses. Murder at Charlottesville. Rioting this whole summer.
