...that he wouldn't commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses the election. Indecency seems too delicate a word for the clusterfuck that the GOP has made of this democracy.
This is not the first election where Democrats have made that accusation, when they are the ones who balked at a transition of power both of the last two times they lost the White House. Rather than accept the result in 2000, Gore sued to recount ballots exclusively in a half-handful of Democratic counties to try to flip Florida into his camp. In 2016, the Democrats put aside their scorn for the electoral college to run a publicity campaign to intimidate electors to backing out of their pledges.
Biden spent the joint session of Congress for certifying the electoral vote gaveling down his own party members who kept trying to illegally introduce motions to derail the whole process. And yet before the election, because Trump would not pledge to refrain from doing what Al Gore did if there was legit chicanery, they ran around screaming that a real estate developer and TV personality was threatening not to abide by the results of the election. What was he going to do? Stage a coup with his non-existent army? Barricade himself in an office he did not hold and would never be permitted physical access to? Refuse to carry out the duties of his office with respect to the actual winner of the election? Maybe... oh, wait. He didn't have an office. Why were we supposed to care if he did not accept the results last time?
Clearly there is no good faith in the media's questions, and Trump is under no obligation to answer them straight or let them box him into a corner. And you're just as unhinged, so I need to see a quote from Trump before I will even entertain the possibility that he meant what you or a major media outlet claim he does.
