IIRC, more people of color have been shot by cops who are also non-white than have been shot by white cops.
This is why activists speak of systems not individual people. Yes, there are black cops who do as bad as white ones. Which is why the cry isn't to refund the white police. The assumptions and profiling that cost black lives, and not just life but cause injury and economic harm to African American communities due to the excesses of the police are not at the level of individuals twirling their moustaches and seeking out black men to harass or kill.
That is the point. And this kind of argument about black cops doing the killing being used as a counter-argument comes from decades of failing to engage in what it means for a system to have racist assumptions built in.
I urge you to stop just thinking this is a problem of white men in police uniform killing black men. That's not the problem. And that's no what the protests are about.
