But I get the difference. I have had too many friends who have been pulled over for driving while black. Particularly in rich, white Connecticut towns. I myself have been pulled over for driving while looking Hispanic. Also in a rich, white, Connecticut town. You and I both understand that certain behaviors with the police can get us killed. But we were not told from childhood on up don't ever do this or you WILL get killed. My parents raised me to believe the policeman was there to help and protect me and was only a danger to me if I deserved it. That is not always the case with those not white.
