Is that what this whole thing is about? Would handing money out fix all of these issues? Let's say that money was given to every decedent of those who were slaves....that would make the issues we are seeing go away? I'm not being passive/aggressive in asking this. I'm honestly thinking if you believe money is the issue here.
I've been observing the fact that money is an excuse, but not the actual issue. The actual issue is far deeper and has much more to do with individual beliefs, rather than a system structured with discrimination.
I'd be all for having a discussion about reparations, but I'm pretty positive that money is not going to solve this issue.
