Every once in a while, I think about Wotmania and this site so I check to see what's here. (Mostly trollish people on a CMB on life support, it seems.)

I've been doing a full read through of WoT for like five years--slow, start-and-stop reader due to lifelong depression--so I've thought of Wotmania on and off lately. I've just gotten to the Sanderson books, which I'd never read (fell off the series after Jordan's death, and then avoided spoilers for the books, which meant avoiding everything WoT). I used to check here every year for March Madness as some of us did a Yahoo bracket dating back to Wotmania, but everyone else kind of disappeared. I always enjoyed that playful ribbing.

I don't know when I first started visiting Wotmania, or when I made my account. I know I was posting by April of '99. And I think I became an admin sometime in 2000 maybe, starting with Fan Fiction. I have fond memories of making silly little remixes and posting Nate's "Journey" stories. Also remember the wSE points and lottery and that stuff. And alternating between being whimsical, annoying and wasting a lot of my life as a miserable conservatroll, unfortunately. (I see that tradition sadly lives on here in the bones of RAFO.)

Good to see some people still checking in on each other here, including some who date back as far as me.
