Turn Coat or Changes, yeah.

I want to read a short story where Lara Raith makes good on her threat to kill Shagnasty for attacking her home (and her family). She said, pretty plainly, that she was going to kill it. I gotta believe she's going to keep her word on that. Mainly, I just want to see what happens when she brings her assets to bear on a target that's stronger than Dresden. Can she kill it? Can she even find it?

I listen to a podcast where two ladies read and discuss the Dresden files, about 4 chapters at a time, and they're doing Turn Coat now. They're 'woke', so of course they had to consult some tribal lady about whether it's ok or disrespectful to use Shagnasty's name in their podcast (guess whether it is or not).

So what's funny is that the actual word they've tabooed from their podcast is Skinwalker (they try to say 'Menace' but have said Naagloshi, apparently without realizing their... mistake? Because the English word for the creature is worse than the tribal word for it? I mean, if you're going to try to avoid using the creature's name out of respect for Native American beliefs, probably it's more important to avoid naming it in Navaho or whatever, right? This is me rolling my eyes at them - hard.
