The parts I didn't like were around Palpatine. No real explanation of how he survived. He appeared to be a mostly dead body being kept alive on life support and by his Dark Side spirit until he got restored by stealing life force from BenRey. But how did he make it out of the shaft? And since he obviously did, why did he think throwing Ben down a shaft would kill him? Why didn't draining enough force from BenRey to reanimate himself kill both of them?
Also, I know Dark Side Force lightning is powerful but when did it become enough to wipe out an entire fleet? Plus, if your reflected lightning is killing you, wouldn't you stop using it?

Yup, and how did Rey, with little to no apparent training, suddenly become more powerful in the force than any Jedi or Sith in history? Able to destroy transport ships with a single bound! Able to defeat Palpatine without breaking a sweat! Mary Sue basically. So powerful it basically renders the whole story and all the films that came before, more or less meaningless.

Nothing was coherent, nothing at all.

It's not for me to tell people how to feel about it, I'm glad some people had fun with it.

I'm just saying that to me personally, it doesn't make the slightest bit of sense at any level

It goes wrong because characters don't have space to breathe - it's all plot, no character - 20/12/2019 10:56:45 PM 379 Views
It's all plot because Last Jedi sucked. - 21/12/2019 12:51:59 AM 345 Views
