I couldn't get through all the horrible pronunciations and self-involvement in the first episode.

They had the Everybody Hates Rand ladies on a guest podcast and those folks were... more. I definitely will stay away from that podcast.

Anyway, it's a free country, say what you want. I listened to Episode 35 yesterday while I was mowing my grass and unable to fast-forward... I much prefer being able to skip the parts where they talk about condoms or how much sex Mat had before he meets Tuon or which of their online buddies is super cool and would be their Warders or the weather in their respective locations...

Do you have a rec for a better podcast?


But I'm actually doing a re-read so... I just finished EotW and I am listening to them talk about it now so... I dunno... I think that's a big part of why I like it. There's one person who's never read it, one who read it but a LONG TIME ago... and one who is fairly knowledgeable about the story... so it's nice mix of perspectives.

But I don't know if it's for everyone. And it irritates me when they mis-pronounce things... but they are much closer than the other people... at least they can find the glossary.
