Climate change aside, it feels a bit hypocritical. Narg Send a noteboard - 28/08/2019 12:05:37 AM

He spent a lot of time and effort decrying income inequality. Buying a $15,000,000 house/property doesn't seem compatible with his former political positions and rhetoric.

I'm also reminded that the Republicans spent 8 years ceaselessly beating the drum of curtailing the national debt and the budget deficit, then upon gaining control of the presidency, the house, and the senate promptly stopped talking about it entirely and have done nothing to curtail it.

It almost seems like politicians just say what they need to say to retain power or wrest it from their enemies.

A little learning is a dangerous thing.
