Lets be honest, whatever happened they were going to get hammered by one section of fans or t'other. It reminds me of people going mental at the end of the Sopranos as Tony didn't get his comeuppance, or did he...whether he did or not a vocal bunch sure did want to see him die. And this was 2007 before twitter and reddit became what they have, they'd have torn the brilliant Sopranos ending apart and demanded all the writers are fired, and directors never get another job, and cancel HBO altogether, cause after years of excellent TV it didn't turn out quite how they wanted.

Anyway, a few thoughts/clarifications:

1 - Master of War is a known council position, Kevan Lannister was offered it under Joffrey, he refused. So you cant give that one to Dany.

2 - The Dothraki are seen loading horses onto the ships as Jon walks by the docks and Greyworm. Implication being they are going with the Unsullied, will probably get dropped home on the way. Since there has not been a Dothraki main character since Khal Drogo, implied only.

3 - I imagine Bran wants to know were Drogon is because, you know, he's a fucking nuclear bomb that could go of at any moment. You kinda wanna keep track of those things.

4 - The public election being laughed off was funny, but a council of individuals electing is a pretty big step forward for a society. Sure they'll get it wrong and some lunatic will create a dictatorship again, but the idea is planted now.

5 - Greyworm did speak again to say that was not enough, hence Jon being banished.

6 - I agree it was a bit of a shit on Dorn and Iron Islands when The North asks for it's on kingdom, But consider that Sansa is Bran's sister and can get away with it, whilst they are weakened rulers of weakened nations who could be crushed underfoot if they went their own way. Also, they just said aye, not Sansas fault they didn't think of it

7 - Yer really nitpicking on the books, the Tyrion line was clearly there for humour, and Riverun was taken without loss of life. Blackfish dying was just him refusing arrest.
