Channeling would be rather hard to get right in a video game.

I've been playing it recently, and come on, couldn't that style of game be an incredible WoT video game?

Something like the Telltale games, with channeling fights as quick time events might work, but one where you're actually controlling what is going on in the fight? There's just a lot of spamming and multitasking of weaves going on in channeler fights, and not a whole lot of physical movement besides.
And side from that... WoT doesn't really do "class balance". The main character has the choice of A. being a channeler, or B. dying in their first head on fight against a channeler.
So... Yeah. The more virtual novel/adventure game setup of the Telltale games might work, but a CRPG like Baldur's Gate? I don't think so.
Have any of you ever played Baldur's Gate?

... Seriously, non-channelers CAN'T fight channelers head on.

I was agreeing with Dunstan, but indeed, it would work better with the early books.

Both TEotW and TGH had big One Power battles against armies. TDR just didn't have "armies".

I know some of those, and almost bought a few at a time prior. Thank you for the list

Speaking of Bioware (maker of Balder Gate) what is happening with Anthem?
