I work for a progressive international corporation that provides free confidential life crisis services for those who need them. I have used these services twice. Once when my depression advanced to the point where I couldn’t control my suicidal thoughts. The second time after my wife died. It’s a wonderful benefit and I totally get it that it isn’t cool that others, like your family, don’t have access to something like this. I don’t know the answer. But you are right. There should be a dialogue.
