Whatever the differences in our opinions and the philosophical framework that shapes our interpretation of the text, we can still grasp the same facts, and a couple of times you've made good points that helped me correct my own views. And while I am not interested in some aspects of the story in which you are more invested, I respect your thought process on the matter. Certainly a hell of a lot more than "I will rate this character more powerful because he is in a hard magic system."
I don't really discuss WoT outside this site. I suspect I have become spoiled and do not have an accurate picture of the fandom at large or its typical comprehension.
