Read the replies of Legolas and Roland, neither of whom agree with my semi tongue in cheek trolling, but both of whom are my friends and express their points without coming off like a total asshole. You should try not being such a dick just once. Who knows, you might find that some here would actually listen to your POV instead of reading solely to be amused at your current level of outrage.

Love is about setting boundaries: What Are My Boundaries? And how do I communicate my boundaries with others?

The power to create boundaries is literally the definition of sacer and profane, to elevate or to desecrate both require a boundary and a relationship with that boundary.

Trolling can be information gathering with understanding a boundary, or it can be violating an existing boundary, or it can be setting up a new boundary (this 3rd kind is a form of passive aggression.)

But when you troll you also open yourself up to a response. People can say no thank you, and they also get to question your intentions. That is the nature of starting the conversation. People have the right to judge you, period.

----

You also have the right to contest this judgement, but please don't bring me into your defense until you literally ask my opinion on the matter. I don't like this, and thus I am saying this now to establish a boundary.

Edit: I added the last sentence to be absolutely clear.
