Are you suggesting that when the FISA application to tap Carter Page was approved, they automatically also received authorization to tap Trump himself? Or do you mean someone else by 'his associations'?

And as a follow-up just for the hell of it, when Trump's appointees to the DoJ renewed the application to keep tapping Carter Page, do you figure they also meant to keep tapping Trump, then?


We'll probably learn that in the coming days. Of course Snowden wasn't talking about FISA cases but obviously when they tap Page they also tap whoever is on the other end of the line.
