i've been on a US-related non-fiction tear lately since the events in Charlottesville. started with Harwell's Civil War Reader and just finished The Strange Career of Jim Crow by C. Vann Woodward. Currently in the beginnings of Trouble in Mind by Leon F. Litwack.
