Are you in one of those no-daylight-savings places? If you are, I'm jealous.

View original postWell, the matinee at least, but not so much the being up and at work so early part. I'm trying to translate into American...did you post this around 7:15am?
View original postHave fun!
View original post6:15 for me - got here just before 6. The youngest daughter had to be at school to get on a field trip bus at 5:30, and I figured I would just drop her off and head to work early.
I think it would have been 7:15 here if I did the math right...and I'm on EDT.
Either way,
View original postOn the bright side, a couple of years ago my cube got decorated for my birthday, and I had pulled down the streamers, but there was still tape (and a couple of little bits of streamer) on the ceiling, out of reach. It's been there all this time. This morning I was able to grab a ladder that some maintenance people left behind and pull it down without anyone knowing about it. Actually doing physical work of any kind is frowned upon by my management chain - Have I been trained by them on how to properly use a ladder!? Are you physically moving a computer from one spot to another? That sort of thing is a big no-no around here.
I would have done the same thing, and my company is very much the same way.
If you are from Betelgeuse, please have one of your Earth friends read what I've written before you respond. Or try concentrating harder.
