I scheduled a job interview for a position more in line with what I want to do... but it pays significantly less than what I make now, and I can't afford the salary hit.
I have no experience with in-person interviews and the job process in terms of my career (I'm excluding PT low-skill jobs from when I was in school) so I agreed to the interview just to get a handle on the experience and how the process works. The "erk" factor here is that I feel bad about being deceptive with regard to my motive for agreeing to go ahead with this interview.
