In the last two years, I've bought a house, gotten married, and had a baby - but I'm not happy.
I've been stuck in the same job for five years. I've been applying for new jobs for two years, and have five "pending" applications in right now with a company I have an internal referral for (but still not so much as a phone screen). My most recent interview was basically my "dream" job right now. I performed horribly, and four months later I'm still furious with myself over it.
I don't want "a job", I want an opportunity to prove myself - to employers, friends, family - and myself.
