Journal: Entry for BlackAdder
I'm going to start work again next week, after a few weeks off (during which I moved and just got more familiar with this new place). I've been waking up at 3:00 AM, sometimes 4:00 AM because when I start work, I'll have to get up at 5:00.
I do have a problem with the wake time 'creeping' later and later (I think this phenomenon
was discussed in Aeryn's recent thread on the CMB), so that's partly why I did that. However, it's one thing to wake up at 3:00 when you've got nothing to do except chill and go around town doing whatever. It can be quite another to wake up, even at 10:00, to go to work.
Well, at least the work I'll be doing is pretty much my bread and butter. And I do love eating bread and butter so that makes sense, but I suppose if you don't like eating bread and butter then that analogy doesn't tell you anything. But really how could anyone not like bread and butter, it's so silly to even think that.
