Alright guys, I need some advice. Our next baby is due in February and racking my brains and searching the internet produced nothing.
Tonight, I sat down in a few minutes of free time to watch some Firefly and decompress...and perfect names presented themselves.
So the question is how to get my husband to agree to Malcom for a boy or Kaylee for a girl.
Post a comment
don't tell him they're from a TV show.
just say you really like the name :P Unless, of course, he also likes Firefly a lot. then he might agree :P
Compromise
When it's a boy, name him Kelly.
Like!!!!

Sexual Favors? ;)
Re: Baby names.
Don't ask him, just sign the birth certificate when he's not looking!
Hehe.

I like the idea of just signing it...;)
Beqi probably has the right answer. :D
He is a Firefly fan, he just doesn't know how cool it would be to use the names. I'm convincing him though.
they're both relatively common names
particularly Kaylee
That is my argument.
They are common, but not usual, so only cool people would really know how awesome the name is.
And I was kind of trying for a theme with the kids...my son (Cameron) and daughter (Alana) have Celtic/Gaelic names, and when I plugged the names into the baby name finder they both came back Gaelic. :|
I think I'm winning him over. :)
I think they are both great.

I can see how "Wash" might be a bit on the weird side but, come on!

Those two are great.
