The Red Tent is awesome.
I really enjoyed that book.
So did I!
Read it when I was quite young and just starting to understand things like periods/sex/womanhood. It was a much-needed fresh perspective at that age, and I think it shaped my subsequent views in interesting ways.

I've read all of his books.. they're easy and fast, but I personally think he has a tendency to build this elaborate plot then run out of book and try to wrap everything up in a chapter or two.
