In my case I've never flown
Yes, you're reading it right, I've never had one foot in an airplane, helicopter, hot air balloon or zeplin even though I'm 24 years old.
I've done some traveling in Europe (France, England, Czech Republic, Austria, Romania), but always by car, train or bike (cycling to Paris was awesome ), but never by air.
No, I don't have fear of flying, just never got around to doing it.
Now, as a protestant theologian it may be symbolic, but it turns out that my first flight is going to Israel and have to make a stop in Rome
In Israel I'll be assisting at an archeological digsight. http://www.kinneret-excavations.org/news.html
Next stop will be Haity btw, in early August. To help rebuild the place. Again by air (since they did not yet build the atlantic tunnel).
Still need to collect 1000 euro's for support. Prolly more on that later.
