Either the same building, cave, or lab setup. There was 0 variety in the side quest locations.
Once I noticed that, I concentrated on the story line. It also felt like bad roleplaying with the Universe being at stake and me going on small pointless missions. I simply thought that I would have a lot more time to do the minor ones in between the main arc parts.
I was far from disappointed, I just expected a few more twists and turns before reaching the showdown.

What did you do playing Mass Effect? Rush through with only the main storyline? *NM*

A lot of people did that. The sidequests were fairly awful. *NM*
