I'm thinking of busting out Neverwinter Nights again. It got me wondering how many other people replay their old games.
I'm defining "replay" as a game you have not played in a while that you decide to reinstall/similar and play again.
1) How often do you replay old games?
I don't often play at all, but I replay more often than I play new games.
2) What types of games are you more likely to replay?
If I say "both", do you promise not to laugh? I only play two types: rpg-types (a la zelda, illusion of gaia or chrono trigger) or watchamacallit (which means Master of Olympus -- I am not really interested in other sim city-ish games).
3) What is your favorite game to replay?
Master of Olympus, I think. Mostly because it is non-committal. I have more fun replaying chrono trigger or zelda or secret of mana, though.
4) What makes it so replay-able?
hmmm. I think I answered that as regards master of olympus. I could add that it is the link to ancient greece which keeps sucking me in. with the others it is probably the story, that it can be fleshed out, not quite remembering and then remembering what I am supposed to do.
5) Would you repurchase an old game so you could play it?
umm, no. not in these days. I have paid for it once (or, my boyfriend has), I don't see why I should have to do it again just because my copy is hidden somewhere.

I pop in old games all the time. I very rarely replay them to completion though *NM*

Sometimes I put up my PS1 to play Crash Bash or Crash Team Racing with friends
