1) How often do you replay old games?

Fairly often, I only get new games if I really, really, want them. (Generally Legend of Zelda, Mario Kart, and Metroid games are the only ones I watch for. I'll pick up others on recommendation only.)

2) What types of games are you more likely to replay?

Those in which the experience is unique on the replay, or those which there is plenty to explore or a good storyline.

3) What is your favorite game to replay?

Actraiser (SNES)

4) What makes it so replay-able?

It is the most awesome game of all time. Combination of a simplified sim-city with occasional side scrolling action sequences. I love it.

Admittedly, though, I haven't replayed it in quite some time. After 15+ years I've pretty much got most the game memorized by now.

5) Would you repurchase an old game so you could play it?

Very likely. I did that with Actraiser many years ago. Still have the cartridge.


Generally, if I found something fun before, I'll find it fun again. As about 90% of the new games out there are crap, I have no problem replaying ones while waiting for new good ones to come out.
