The problem with the NPC's not doing stuff properly I didn't notice until very last stretch of game. MightyYT Send a noteboard - 25/03/2010 04:18:16 PM
And here is what I noticed.

Medic: Why have more powerful cure spells that don't do more powerful cures? Seriously, Curasa and Curaja do exactly the same amount of healing as Cure and Cura (and please, Squeenix, get away from the 'a things at the end.) Esuna and Raise will not be cast until all of your party (nonKO) is in the green.

Sentinel: Too many variations of Guard and none work as well as Steelguard. Everything but Steelguard seems to take 70-100% damage, so what is the point? But that doesn't matter because the only on that ever seems to be used is Mediguard which is fine a lower levels, but when enemies do approx. 1000-2000 damage per hit and Mediguard only gives 200-300 inbetween hits, it doesn't help much.

Synergist: Why won't Hope or Sazh cast more than one spell at a time like they did earlier in the game? Seriously, I have 5 ATB slots, most of the spells cost 2 slots to cast, so why do you only cast 1 at a time?

Saboteur: Nearly useless in end game (except poison rules, just like FFX...have a problem with a boss, just cast poison)

Ravager: Doesn't cast AoE spells that often. Higher level spells don't do more damage than lower level spell...just reach a bigger area.

Commando: MOST ANNOYING THING - When fighting more than one enemy with 2 Commandos, THEY.WILL.NOT.ATTACK.SAME.TARGET.

Many enemies in the later part of the came get hurt more by Commando than Ravager, yet I still have to use the Relentless Assault Paradigm (2 RAV, 1 COM) because if I use Aggression (2 COM, 1 RAV) they will not focus on one target.

Something else that is annoying, now that I have bought all the weapons...many of the weapons make you weaker, IMO. Sure the stats for either attack or magic might be good but you wind up with an extra like Enfeeblement (Attacks do less damage), StaggerLock (Can't Stagger Enemies), or one that makes Magic extremely weak.

I wouldn't be having any of the problems I am currently having if I could either a) Switch my main character during battle, or b) Actually alter the gambits the game uses so the CPU people aren't RETARDED. As it stands, no matter what I do with the Party lead, the others are being ridiculously stupid.
Castle: This is so weird. I dressed up as him for Halloween.

Beckett: Me too.
