I wish they'd just bring the hardware backwards compatibility back, personally. Charge more for a premium version, and put the PS2-on-a-chip back into the console. I would likely purchase a PS3 in that case. I have a gigantic (well, by my standards) library of PS2 games, and a broken PS2. I can't justify a PS3 for the two or three exclusives that I care about, but to have access to those AND my old favorites? I'd definitely fork over the monies.
