Some are deeper than others- but Morigan doesn't give you much at all (spoilers)

There's a ton of potential there... raised alone in the woods by an evil witch, barely interacted with humanity
then she finds out her mother intends to POSSESS HER BODY, and all you get is... "let's go beat her up so she can't do that. Whenever you can spare some time, anyway"
Compared to the others:
Allistair has his whole "broken family and my new father figure was slaughtered by an army of darkspwan"
Sten has his whole "stranger in a strange land, plus I am very tall" schtick.
Heck, even Shale has a whole mysterious amnesiac past that you gradually uncover.
I feel like Morrigan would have been a lot cooler if she either cracked wise a bit more, or if she was a bit more mature and acted like Kreia, from KOTOR2.
As it is now, she's kind of an immature version of Kreia that doesn't have the gravitas to pull off being a mentor figure. So instead of going "Hm, maybe Morrigan's right about not helping this person" all I can think is,
"God, Morrigan, stop bitching that I'm helping this person! I'm going to get PAID! If you didn't have Waking Nightmare and Fireball you'd be back at camp with the DOG"
then she finds out her mother intends to POSSESS HER BODY, and all you get is... "let's go beat her up so she can't do that. Whenever you can spare some time, anyway"

I've picked up this game about five times, and found the combat kind of annoying.

I don't keep her in party because she disapproves of me going around doing good deeds. *NM*

Heh, yeah. Some of her stuff is pretty great, particularly with Alistair in the party. *NM*

She still has sufficient depth for a video game

My complaint was that she's not snarky ENOUGH- she mostly just complains
