I posted an topic survey a while back, asking if people wanted new categories. I left it up for at least a week, and had just 8 unique responders, with only ONE PERSON requesting some sort of card game category. There just wasn't hardly any interest. Furthermore, the vast majority of posts on this board are about video games. The few that aren't range from tabletop games, to board games, to CCGs, to whatever. As it is, we have a miscellaneous category that very nicely catches those sorts of posts. I see no reason to implement five new categories just for the sake of catching a post or three each. I don't want categories just for the sake of having categories. Topics are useful so that people can quickly find posts they're interested in. For the time being, I think that miscellaneous serves that purpose perfectly well.

HOWEVER. If you disagree, find some people that agree with you! Ben said he's perfectly willing to add more categories if I asked him to, and if there are people who want them, I'll do that. When I asked people, though, no one gave a crap. Until they do, the categories aren't going to change.
