They're very, very different experiences. I'd say that AC2 is the better game, but depending on what you're looking for, it might not be the better game for you.
Dragon Age is longer and offers more replayability, plus expandibility (more dlc, a recently announced expansion set). Really though, you're deciding factor shoudl be: do you want classic D&D inspired fantasy RPG with Bioware-style party members and dialogue trees, or do you want to play an action-adventure parkour assassin game with traces of the Da Vinci code?
Also: DA should be played on PC for best results. AC2 is, of course, console.
