I still suck at MW2. I either play conservatively as you do and get low kills, but I quickly get bored and then run into the open. The dumbest guys run into the open with no cover, I at least try to find a wall or something to stand behind so that my whole body isn't wide open. For me, I 15-20 kills is good, but I can be inconsistent. My biggest problem is that even though I play team games, nobody really plays as a team. I would to have teammates to watch my back, but it never works out that way.

My cousins are amazingly good at this game-- top 20,000 players at this game. They use the claymores with scavenger on to protect their backsides. They routinely rack up 40 kills in a round, and I have seen them nuke many times (usually in domination). Whenever they see a group of enemies they switch to the noob tube and take them all out. One of my cousins tries to poach where the enemies spawn with the noob tube. I once saw him take 5 guys out at once.

Then again, some of these guys have literally been playing CoD non-stop since CoD2 game out on the Xbox 4 years ago. I don't have enough time to put into the game to be good at it. I bought in on launch day and I still haven't played more than 20 hours. My cousins have already logged in 15 days of game-time since launch. How can compete with youngsters who do nothing else but play CoD all day long?
