And Dragon Age is hands-down better on the computer. I haven't played AC. That said, I think Dragon Age is a better game. It has depth that I strongly suspect AC lacks.
So... gameplay wise, Assassin's Creed is probably a better choice. In terms of story, Dragon Age.

I have them both, and I would definitely go with Assassin's Creed 2.
