so I remember this being bult into games like hearts in the past... but can't find a way to make it work now.

I wanna play some simple games with a friend online (chess, checkers, hearts, etc) but all the ways I remember it being an option like 5 years ago don't seem to be showing anymore....

are there any simple ways to play a specific person in a simple online game without needing to register with some website?

This never held my interest before now... and now I don't know where to look.

Edit: well it appears games.com allows you to sign in via AIM screen name. That works.
