On my way South I am in Bravil right now. The mage guild there doesn't seem to offer the option of a quest for writing a recommendation for me. I thought I had to get one in each town, no?


It doesn't pop up as the Rec quest, I believe it pops up as a So-and-So Staff in the journal. I don't know if the names translate or not, but talk to Ardaline(High Elf), then Kud-Ei(Argonian). Once you sort out the whole staff issue, the Argonian should give you the rec.
