Have any of you played this?

I just started and it looks like it's gonna be kinda crappy, to be honest. Does it pick up?


But even though I always want to play that kind of game, I know that they aren't for me. I always end up getting bored and/or outmatched by the simple computer AI. I'm just no good at them, so I avoid them.

But as far as it goes, I've heard only positive things about the game.

So really, it's your fault for getting tricked by the sweet lure of strategic galactic empire-building.
