It's a downloadable game that was apparently funded through a kickstarter. It costs about $10 and is sold through Amazon. It's kind of like an animated board game, in which you control a mid-size ship (Millenium Falcon or Serenity type) on a mission through eight star maps of increasing difficulty. You jump from star to star on the map, and some of your jumps will result in a one-on-one battle with another ship. You collect resources, recruit crew members and upgrade your ship's weapons, equipment, systems and reactor as you go on, and achievements of varying complexity and difficulty unlock new ships you can use, or alternate variants of ships already in your hanger. I understand there are a wide array of mods available online as well, allowing you to use all sorts of ships, including ones modeled after famous fictitious vessels. You can only save the game to go away and come back later if Real Life requires your attention, you can't save it to go back and retry, and once your ship blows up or your whole crew dies, the game is over, no matter what. I really like it.
