There are layoffs happening at Irrational games to bring itself back to a smaller company and have a more direct relationship with gamers. I LOVED the bioshock series, especially the last game. It's definitely one of my favorite to date, if not my favorite. Seeing this makes me sad but at the same time, I think that if this is happening, they have their reasons and we can just expect an even greater experience down the line.

EDIT 2: Weeeeell, maybe refocusing isn't the right word. It seems Irrational is shutting down entirely. Even sadder to see but I have to say I'm glad to see the bioshock franchise go on as good of a note as it did.
