I think I'm pretty firmly set on going the PS4 route this generation, although I won't be getting any console in the near future and will stick with the PC as my "next-gen." Xbox has the no used games thing, and while the new capabilities of the kinect are cool, I don't want to actually do things while playing video games. I want things like the Oculus Rift, or the sci-fi full immersion things where I'll be in a virtual reality and think things are actually happening around me, not standing in a living room and knocking things over with flailing limbs.
Edit: Also, I just love their response to questions of whether the new xbox is "always on." The answer is always a quick "no!" followed by talk of the cloud, and how much better everything runs because of it, and how the cloud is absolutely integral to the console's functionality. But no, it's not always on or anything, whatever gave anyone that idea?
