One of the problems everyone (including me) has is that the AC games are not actually stealth games

Which is annoying, because everything is screaming at you to be stealthy- hiding, blending, even the word "assassinate."
But... it's really not. Even if now and then you can use a group of thieves to distract some guards or something, the game mechanics just aren't suited to stealth. Planning an attack, maybe, but it's extremely difficult to go through a mission without being spotted.
And even if you do... what's the point? You are essentially an unkillable juggernaut. Especially as you pick up more weapons and gadgets, but even with just the hidden blade, if you hold down block and counter each attack (as they come in one at a time), it's pretty tough to die.

I amuse myself.
Since everyone is making Assassin's Creed threads, I might as well do so . (Complete)

I won't argue with your points, but I will say: I loved AC2, and enjoyed it far more than 1.
