It's awesome. The sheer number and variety of new guns was great (I don't think I even used every new gun during my first play through of the campaign), and a couple of them were just entertaining, namely the Binary Rifle and the Railgun.
Speaking of the campaign, I actually really liked the story, and there were no weak levels. Every single one had at least one part that made me say "wow." The last level is probably the most epic Halo level yet.
The cinematics are beautiful, too. There are parts that just plain look real; namely, Commander Lasky and some bits in the first Spartan Ops episode.
Overall, great game. Easily a 9/10, probably closer to 9.5. It's my favorite Halo since Halo: CE.

I've only played multi so far, but I really like it. Why do you like the railgun?
