1. Multiplayer looting sucks. Especially random multiplayer. The mindset is going to be: just pick up every gun and then move on because the other guy is just spamming "e". imo, the devs should have made looting similar to diablo 3. random multiplayer is really not enticing me to play it as of the moment.
Solution - play with friends? See if you can get a few trusted partners to team up with. I don't know what else to say, as it may be a problem when you can't trust your teammates to not be greedy bastards.
2. I hate how the inventory works. It is really difficult to compare stats with a pistol in your bag if you are currently holding your rifle. I know the devs must have designed you to cycle to your pistol to compare it to another pistol on the ground but with how the game works (if in a random multiplayer game), you need to keep looting lest the other player pick up something better than what you looted. If there's a setting for this, please let me know.
Again, I've not run into this since I only play with Steam or RL friends, but I think your only bet right now is to do a quick assessment or loot. Knowing the gun system and knowing what you're looking for tends to help a lot. If you're only looking at higher numbers and green arrows, you're gonna have a harder time with this.
3. I'm really early in the game, but zero sucks as a sniper. He's really got low health and if you snipe one, the enemy is just gonna rush you (which is good AI). Zero needs more like a trap mechanism to fortify his position or maybe let sniping be an action where the enemy wouldn't know your position immediately.
Honestly, I felt like all of the characters sucked early on. Once you get more skill points, they each start to differentiate and fit into their class roles. New playstyles open up and things generally become more fun.
4. I'm kind of feeling that the there's too much loot. I'm not complaining but its like I'm changing my gun every 10 minutes. This might be what the devs intended but sometimes I tend to fall in love with my gun's look, how it works, or even how it destroys an enemy. If I see a higher dps on another gun but it shoots like a dartgun, there's a real choice there (which is good), be effective or enjoy your gun. It just happens too often (which is bad, imo)
I see plenty of guns that have higher damage, but aren't what I want. A lot of the higher damage guns suck due to consuming extra ammo per shot and having small magazines. So, you have to choose between burst damage output or sustainability. I prefer the latter, but your gun layout should have a mix of both. (burst dmg is good for Fight For Your Life)
5. getting stuck on corners. Also, I'm constantly dying while using axton because i get stuck often when i get too close to my sentry gun.
Haven't run into that with my Axton, but I think we're using different strategies. I tend to throw my gun one way and run another, so we're effectively flanking. Or sometimes, I'll toss the turret ahead of me to make a kind of 'beachhead' when the mobs get too intense. Try mixing up your tactics and let us know if it improves.
6.hate those birds. with my slow moving gun ammo, these flying monsters are the bane of my existence.
Yeah, they can be a pain early on. Get yourself a good automatic! It makes them much easier. Also, I find that they'll sometimes ignore you if you keep moving. That, and they're difficult to hit when they're not flocking or flying straight at you.
7. I know it is not an MMO but It kind of feels like it. Fetch-me quests, endless mobs, endless loot. My question is : Is there an endgame?
Part of me wants to just say ugh, as I've grown to despise the term 'endgame.' It's like some people slog through the bulk of a game and can't enjoy it until they feel they've reached this mystical after-game experience. That attitude basically encourages devs to add grind, and is part of why I hate MMOs.
Anyway, I'm sure you're not one of those, right? Haha. I'm sure our tastes differ there, but it's okay. I hear that completing the second playthrough makes the game scale the difficulty of everything to level 52-60. Chances are that you won't be that level yet, so it will add additional challenge. So, some are recommending that you skip side quests in pt2, then do them afterward once they're scaled higher.
The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.

I've been very curious about the first one (and this) since you mentioned it a while ago

Ironically, that part interested me. Also, friends don't let friends play Borderlands alone! *NM*

The PC version is superb, too! Lots of settings, no complaints here. Thoughts on gameplay inside.

I didn't mean it as a criticism. More like a supplement or follow-up with opinions.
