I know in my heart that I would go through the same cycle I did with Cataclysm — play through the new high level content; check out the new race's zone and then leave the character unlevelled beyond that; get excited about doing dailies and getting money and gearing up for heroics; play a few heroics and get bored; try to level up some of the dozens of characters I've started and left behind over the years; quit; keep coming back every couple months just to learn there was nothing I actually wanted to do.

This very accurately describes the last time I re-subbed. What will most likely happen is I'll level my warrior to 90 and go back and do the monk til it's time for Outlands, and then be done because I HATE leveling in Outland (though I enjoy Northrend questing). In a year or so, I'll re-sub and level my priest. We'll see. Like I told Zalis, though, when I play now it's for the "veg out" factor to relax at the end of the day more than anything else.

Goddamit, Warcraft, why do you have to be so, so, so... habituating?! (yes, I got MoP and re-subbed) - 27/09/2012 02:54:53 PM 907 Views
If you really want encouragement to quit, just remember that none of what you earn is real. *NM* - 27/09/2012 03:46:55 PM 349 Views
I play to have fun, not "get stuff". - 27/09/2012 04:57:04 PM 656 Views
