I'll admit that mentioning the word "refined" in the same sentence as a Gearbox title is humorous, but I mean in a gameplay kind of way--not a long cigarette kind of way.
If you liked the first game, that's good news. If not, then you're probably going to have a bad time. FWIW, I think it's a very well done sequel. It expanded just enough to mix things up, but sticks close to what they knew their fans loved about the first game.
And as with the first game: If you're not playing with others, specifically friends, you're doing it wrong.
