sometimes your living space is still a drive-able distance from a bus station. When I had an externship in Sydney last summer (northern hemisphere summer), I would have loved a car to drive to and from my bus stop near work... It was a walkable distance, but I could have saved myself an extra 20-30 minutes of sleep!! Luckily there was a closer stop I could take on the way FROM work. It just didn't work getting to work on time -_- But yah, sometimes you live just far enough away from the bus stop that it's nice to have the time-saver of driving.

But yah...just saying to be a pain in the rump...
