My storage breakdown on the 360 looks roughly like this:
1) Saved games: under 1gb
2) Install of current game: 5gb
3) 3-5 downloaded arcade games: couple hundred mb each
4) Miscellaneous demos, trailers, downloaded videos, etc: 2-3gb.
So yeah, it's been plenty for me. Most of the games I play are disk-based and I don't use the 360 to store media (that's what 5TB of space on my desktop is for
). If you download a lot of arcade games/on-demand 360 games, or you want to use your 360 to store downloaded videos/music, you'll definitely need more space. If you mostly just want to use it to play 360 disks and a few downloaded games here and there, 24gb is plenty.
